Rally Point at the Summit was born from pain – but built on purpose
We are a family of veterans spanning four generations of military service. We have served in just about every major conflict of the United States of America since WWII. We’ve deployed to the Philippines and throughout the Pacific, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We have served as Infantrymen, Mortarmen, a PBY Catalina Gunner, on Navy vessels, a Combat Medic, an M60 Tanker, and a H-60 Crew Chief.
We’ve seen the battle continue long after the war ends. We’ve buried friends. We’ve supported soldiers contemplating suicide. And we’ve experienced the heartbreak of losing someone we loved – not just on the battlefield, but in silence at home.
In December 2024, we lost John. He was our brother-in-law and a proud Marine veteran. He suffered quietly, had no support system, and no lifeline. He was alone and in the end, he died by suicide. He left behind Alex (his wife), Lexi (daughter) and Rowan (son).
